I am trying to install Tiger on an AIO. When I bought
the machine, I put a 60 gig drive on it, formatted and
installed 9.22 no problem.
Then installed Tiger. Ran like a clock for several
days.\
I then added a slave 30 gig drive. It was recognized,
worked great, etc.
Then I was adding some softare.
All of a sudden, the machine crashed. When I tried to
reboot X, I get this weird, barcode looking vertical
stripes on the lower left corner and it hangs with the
white apple screen.
When I tried to boot to safe mode, it hung with a
black screen and a blinking white cursor.
I have disconnected the slave drive, reinstalled 9.22
(which worked fine throughout the above problems, and
attempted to reinstall X.
Still, even after reformatting the 7 gig boot
partition, using xposfacto 4, it hangs when trying to
boot from the cd, saying something like "we're going
to hang here".
Any ideas on what I have to do to get this puppy up
and running in X again? OS 9.2 still running
flawlessly, so I don't think it's hardware.
Thanks
Tom
