I have found the B&W G3 to be a bit pickier about PC100 and PC133 RAM than the Sawtooths but all the random sticks of PC100 RAM I have in my office run in my Rev 1 B&Ws.

I just stuck four 64MB PC100 DIMMs in a Rev1 last week for a client and all of them worked. That B&W is running OS 10.4.3.

In Belgium/ Europe, apple memory is more expensive and even Apple dealers try the cheapest solution ...

I heard about Imac G5/powermac G5 that were sold with memory that didn't run stable ...

I'm so tired of this situation that I'm thinking of PC hardware ... to run linux.. of course ...
