But in any case, if it won't boot natively, there's no harm in trying XPF in any case. Sometimes it can help with installing even a supported OS. E.g. I was trying to get Tiger onto a B&W recently, for an ex-girlfriend. The machine has onboard Firewire so it /should/ work - but it didn't. I think B&Ws can't boot off Firewire devices, such as the Firewire DVD burner I was using. So i used XPF instead. It ran perfectly. Once installed, I could discard XPF and just use the normal method to switch between OS9 & OS X ([System Preferences|Control Panel] -> Startup Disk). > But Bruce says 10.2 is supported? Well, ok.
