(if I have said this before, excuse me, I have a slight case of teflon brain):
FYI: It now works pretty much flawlessly. OSX prints fine from
SimpleText & various other apps like web browsers. PDF go fine.
Apps that wont print otherwise, can simply print to PreView, form
whicxh a PDF can be made & then printed out.
It has been mentioned to me that maxing out the printer's memory is
smart, and it is probably worth considering, considering I have come
across a web store in Norway that sells RAm for almost half of
Apple's bloated prices.
ESP-print changed OSX so the cable is ok now, & I don't need it anymore.
