Yes the docs must be messed up...unxsVZ is the OpenVZ unxs 
controller*...from source you need to

# cd unxsBind
# make
# make install

and continue from there

*The complete source comes with everything inside of the unxsVZ dir 
unxsBind is a sub directory of unxsVZ all the libs an other things you 
may need are also sub dirs of unxsVZ. You can always svn checkout only 
the dirs you need for unxsBind.
