If you are interested in some of the future of web, here you go. http://www.css3.info/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_2
Here are some things about rounded borders as well. http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/CSS:-moz-border-radius http://webkit.org/blog/65/recent-webkit-features/ And, by the way, everyone has the same thoughts as you that there is so much work for something that should be simple on a lot of web apps. Looks nice. Still, I have to shake my head since this whole use of raster graphics instead of vector images in a flexible environment like the the web is basically retarded. I realize everyone is working with what's available and it's probably easier to just do it than argue, but it all seems so unproductive to do all that stuff just to get a rounded corner, gradients, different sized photos, etc that is a snap to do in SVG (which after all is xml...) Maybe SVG should become the web page with some logic like, if stupid non-SVG Microsoft browser, then convert to SWF and display. Anyway, thanks for all the help and my finally table-less web page(s) are coming along and maybe up later today to show. _______________________________________________ UPHPU mailing list [email protected] http://uphpu.org/mailman/listinfo/uphpu IRC: #uphpu on irc.freenode.net _______________________________________________ UPHPU mailing list [email protected] http://uphpu.org/mailman/listinfo/uphpu IRC: #uphpu on irc.freenode.net
