Call me paranoid, but I don't want a history of the sites I visit being logged anywhere. Second, for sites that I don't want my behavior tracked on, Flash should honor my choice to reset my browser however frequently I choose. According to that article, websites can use unique ID stored in the flash shared object to connect me to their database and then reinstate their cookies. It appears that you can disable this through the flash settings control panel on Adobe's site, but that is far to complex and obscure for the average user.
