Is this [3rd party server] javascript based? If so, my problem with
those sorts of tools is that they, typically, add significantly to the
load time that they are trying to track. Thus giving a falsely
inflated load average than would be reported without the tracking
utility built in. :/

An example of a really cool tool is the userfly service. I have it
installed on one page of http://www.unmannedship.com and, while it's a
really cool tool, it dramatically increases the page load time because
of all the external javascript that gets called.
