I use HAML (http://www.haml-lang.com/) and Sass (http://www.sass-lang.com/)
for almost all of my projects nowadays.  Although I don't program in PHP, so
I can't vouch for the following link, here's an implementation
of HAML in PHP: http://phphaml.sourceforge.net/.

I have no idea if Sass has been implemented in PHP as of yet.  Good project
for someone though!
