>From time to time, I've heard several members here talk about data-scraping.
 Most often it's migrating a client from one web dev to another.  I'm
posting this article because of it.

I've got to admit, this article took me by surprise.  I was always under the
impression that the data belonged to the for whom it was being stored.
 However, it appears that it is the opinion of the law, that the structure
used to maintain that data, etc, belongs to the web dev, and that data
scraping is theft of that IP (if i understood the article correctly).

In any case, read the article if you data scrape.
