Hello all, It's time to get warmed up for our January meeting, on Thursday, January 20th. A few items of business:
1. We're in need of some volunteers to present at our next several meetings. It's not nearly as difficult as some people seem to think, and the group is very friendly. Please consider some topics that interest you that you could share with the rest of us. 2. There has been some talk about 3rd Thursdays being in conflict with some of the other groups, I think it was Ruby and Python. Is that a concern for anyone on the list? 3. Location change: Our meetings will still be hosted at Code Greene, but Code Greene's offices moved in December, around the corner from where they were previously. They're now at 268 South State Street, Suite 100 (straight in the front door, or use the back entrance on the back of the building). On 300 South and State Street, on the north west corner, is Charles Schwab. Down State street, it's got Beans and Brews, the entrance to Code Greene's building, America First, and Five Star Restaurant, followed by Gallivan St. On the 300 South side, Downtown Philly Cheesesteaks, followed by the sidewalk to the back entrance, and a parking garage. There's also a bunch of on-street parking that doesn't have the 1 hour limits after 6pm, too. Anyway, thanks to all of you for your participationn, here, in IRC at #uphpu, and on the website.
