I think this is very helpful feature and I even thought of it
recently. I think also it should be optional, and it could be divided
into "debug levels" - ie. at debug level 0 no dump is performed, at
debug level 1 only informational messages are printed out to show what
is happening, and at debug level 2 more or all information is
displayed... what do You think? :-)
