Dear Mike, I am almost sure, that without support of wide community, the
STAPL player and possibly also the hope for standard-conforming STAPL
implementation will die.

We have not sufficient resources to bring it to 64bit in reasonable time,
i.e. before the code base will diverge away. On the other hand, with
support of other members of the community such as Gaston, we may get good,
portable code soon.

Please, give us a chance.

Thank you,
Marek

P.s> Even on a 32bit desktop, there are many people who could profit from
using 32bit player (yes, under uncomfortable emulator): all Actel FPGA
users and lots of others -- the advantages over SVF have been already
mentioned here.

Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security
