*Responsibilities:*
**
- Develop benefit plan descriptions
- 80-90% of time will be spent doing benefits configuration/benefits coding;
other areas to include reference and code sets will be configured as well
- Ensure that benefits for new groups and existing groups who implement
benefit changes are properly identified and coded into claim processing
software
- Testing, verifying, documenting, and implementing application system
software corrections/ enhancements to claim processing system
- Review and interpretation of contract benefits and edit/ audit resolution
*Position Requirements:*
*- BS Degree in related field or 3-5 years of equivalent experience
- Three (3) years experience (must be current) in configuration of health
insurance claims processing systems (Amisys preferred) including benefits
configuration/coding.
- Experience working with code sets and reference controls*
