Please include your employer details as well. *Job Title* Oracle Database Administrator *Project Location* Raleigh, NC *Duration* 6 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI : TELEPHONIC + SKYPE / FACE2FACE* - *5+ years experience with Database maintenance including monitoring and maintenance tasks* - Familiarity with architecture, both logical and physical design - Design and build new database structures - Ability to perform backup and recovery tasks - Experience with applying patches and upgrading database versions - Hands-on ability with installation and building database structures - Proficiency developing and maintaining shell scripts as well as programming in PL/SQL - Experience with queries and performance tuning *Preferred Qualifications:* - Proven experience defining requirements and specifications for customizations associated with Oracle forms, reports and interfaces - *Proficiency in RAC, Dataguard, and ASM* - *Familiarity with RMA* - *Oracle certification* - Proven ability to develop and maintain documentation - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or related field - Ability to work independently with minimal direction - Ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical *Additional Provisions:* - Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check. - Once candidate’s resume is approved and interview passed, the agency is responsible for providing drug screening. Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process. - All candidates must be a US Citizen, have permanent residence status (Green Card), or a H1B Visa. - Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years.
