SAP BASIS ADMINISTRATOR Location : Sacramento, CA
Duration : 6 months Install EHP 6 for ECC Install EHP 2 for CRM Upgrade SAP Portal to 7.31/7.4 Apply Support Packages on BW and BPC system Upgrade ADS, NWDI and BI Java to 7.31/7. Assist the Basis resources during system refreshes Assist in SAP upgrade or apply SAP Enhancement Packages to the following systems: ECC, BW, EP, Solution Manager, ADS, NWDI and SLD; Providing consulting expertise to functional teams and technical staff; and coordinating, planning and executing enhancement activities. Supports the SAP infrastructure by managing the SAP environment; performing SAP refreshes, monitoring the SAP systems; coordinating and communicating with SAP functional staff, SAP technical support staff and other technical support organizations. Plan, coordinate, prioritize, monitor, and guides work activities with work-unit employees. Participate in assigned tasks of the work unit in order to meet defined unit goals and schedules; and comply with the current schedule, quality, quantity, and safety and performance standards. Previous role as SAP technical all rounder to provide support and guidance to SAP Basis team or large contribution to several SAP Basis projects. 3+recent years experience as a SAP Basis administrator or expert. SAP applications, operating system and database administration (AIX/DB2). Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills. Strong customer focus and management of client expectations. Excellent teamwork skills. Can work with minimum supervision. Demonstration of the following key leadership behaviors: Change/process improvement, problem solving, and information sharing, and planning/organizing.
