Looking for Oracle DBA in Boston, MA – 12+ Months - Please share resumes to lu...@itstrategiesinc.com **Candidates must be local to MA, NH, or CT** Job Description The Database Administrator will provide database administrative support for our clients environments including; software development, QA, client test, and our critical high availability production environment and DR Data Centers. • Software installation and patching • Database creation and configuration • Recommends solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications. • Maintain database performance by calculating optimum values for database parameters; implementing new releases; completing maintenance requirements; evaluating computer operating systems and hardware products. • Provide 3rd level support for our clients critical production environments • Participate in root cause analysis for database issues • Supports database functions by designing and coding utilities. Qualifications • 6+ years of proven Oracle DBA experience • Working knowledge of Oracle’s GoldenGate Replication technology • Working knowledge of O/S and Disk Management, working knowledge with SQL • Hands on experience with Oracle RAC and OEM Grid Control/Cloud Control Thanks & Regards…. ?
