how about when we right click on a file, that we get displayed some of the properties. Or why don't I see anything when hovering with mouse over file in Gnome 2.10? Why do I either have to open properties or display as list when I just want to know the size of the file. Ok, the size is also displayed at the bottom border of the window, but I like icon view and then I often have small windows, so most of the space is used by the name (long file names). I then have to make the window wider in order to see the size.
