No argument from me.
The "fix" for Safari 12 wasn't very well thought out either in technical
terms or in public visibility.
I used yesterday’s version, and not installed globally (ran from the opened
dmg). And will purge that account today, and make another if I need to again.
Interesting. I didn't realize it could be run from the dmg. Another
option would be to run it in a container.
