Hopefully they'll read Comment #3 there. I would imagine adding optional args for new endpoints would be simple to do, and open the package up to MANY more use cases.

If you have a moment, can you bring me up to speed on real-world s3?:

What are the advantages over, say, WebDAV or other similar API-driven storage?
