Your experience parallels mine. Over the last year I've been exporting data for a few customers so they could import into other platforms. None of them could pay the monthly fee to continue with their current custom stacks. One client used Claude to write a custom web app and import his data. I was impressed, I watched him do it over a zoom call.

Like you, my life has changed and I'm technically retired. I do miss the old days though. We were an amazing and vibrant community.
