I just got an email from RunRev that my current licence will expire next
year and if I want to continue using LiveCode (Classic), I need to get a
new license. The upgrade offer is apparently half of the regular fee for
the new licence, which sounds generous, but it will double my expense. I
have been using this LiveCode since MetaCard days, but I have been
making apps only for myself past few years and I can’t justify the
increase. So, I am going to look at alternative solutions. With AI
coders around, the number of options increased beyond xTalks.

import his data. I was impressed, I watched him do it over a zoom
call.
Like you, my life has changed and I'm technically retired. I do miss
the old days though. We were an amazing and vibrant community.
