Without seeing any code, I would advise looking at the acceleratedRendering and 
layerMode properties if you haven't already. These might make a difference when 
moving objects. Honestly, though, I'm not sure if they apply to dragging or 
not. I haven't personally done anything like that. Maybe someone else can chime 
in...
