Should I dare to say is this the "year of linux on the desktop" that we've been hearing about? Honestly, I think it stops becoming fanboyism when it makes the shift to a real trend. I think some major players are making a cultural shift away from microsoft that makes linux the realest contender I see. For instance: If valve can succeed in getting teenagers that are playing PC games away from being stuck on windows is going to make the next 10 years very interesting for linux.
