I was thinking that to view movies or videos we user a *player* object not a movie or video object. So what about calling it a *viewer* object which would then allow us to view SVGs, images, graphics or any other drawing or illustration format. This way the name is not tied to the data type being viewed. The internals of the viewer object would take care of displaying the assigned object whether using SVG to display SVG paths or image data etc.
