That's funny :-) There's no "e" in the middle of Fredricks, though many have tried to insert one. A dodgy ancestor chopped off the "son" off of Fredrickson. The worst for me has always been "Lynn" - as a man, I have received many a merchandise or freebie in the mail from companies that cater to women. Plus, when I lived in Japan (six years), noone could pronounce my name correctly.
