This does indeed seem to be the case; iPad seems to be another toy for those who already
have all the other toys - and as such has 'toy' applications.

HOWEVER; while it may be a rich man's toy (and I use the word 'man' not to be sexist, but because we all know that, on the whole, it is men who invest in fancy gadgets rather more than women) and none of us should contemplate buying an iPad as a development
tool; we can still consider developing stuff to be deployed on it.
