Thanks Alex, Actually my real problem was why Rev was doing this (ie not picking up the correct working directory). However, found it was not Rev. My installer was not setting the 'Start in' parameter of the shortcut, so the standalone was only pickup up the exe from the app dir, then running on the desktop. Being a single exe, there were no errors produced. Lesson learned here.
