Mark didn't say it crashed. He said that the IDE just quit, which is exactly correct. I tried it on my WinXP machine and it worked exactly the same. Double click on the titleBar icon and boom...window closes.
As far as a way to intercept it...no idea. I will investigate! (cue the action music)
