I agree with Ken, but for a different reason, unless I slept partway through his post.
Ajax, AIR, Flash. All are ways to make rich internet apps, and all are being accepted as reasonable ways and standards. So, if RR was going to develop a way to move apps to the web, I would argue that it is far easier to gain acceptance if one uses an established method rather than inventing a new one, unless the new one is so revolutionary that it is simply accepted as the reasonable choice.
