Yes, I was prepared for the inevitable font differences, but I hadn't
expected the dramatic size fluctuation specifically.
As for the UI and scrollbars looking wrong, etc. Your explanation is a good
one. I'm hoping that when it comes time to build the distribution, the
theory holds.
