Troy, check out the "Why do fonts and colors change when I create a
standalone application?" question in the Troubleshooting section. (This
also applies to running stacks outside the Rev environment.)

Basically, the Rev home stack sets some default properties, and when you
run without the home stack (as a standalone, or without the Rev
environment), you see the raw engine settings instead of the familiar Rev
defaults.

To fix this, build a distribution (stack or standalone), and in the Stacks
tab, check "Use default colors" and "Use default fonts".
