I think you're right. That is, about the direct cause of the problem. But
there's something else to consider: I have a Performa 5400/160 MHz here, and
I tried to run RR on it once... simply unusable. Maybe it's improved a
little by now, but I think it's still too slow for my old Mac.
One could say: buy a G4 733MHz, and maybe he'd be right IF MC didn't run as
well. But MC actually *does* run fine...
