Where did the 5 August date come from?  Why would someone (me specifically)  who 
bought Rev 1.0 on August 2 be ineligible for the discounted upgrade price?  I just 
checked my email receipt and it says 2 August although I suspect that the date on the 
actual invoice is probably later.

Please tell me that VERY early adopters are got going to get shafted because they 
bought (three days)  before 5 August!
