Standard licenses do not come with updates. We could have decided to charge
the entire $349 price again for the update, we didn't do that. We are
working aggressively on the pricing model for Revolution and this seems like
a fair and reasonable upgrade price given all the features in the upgrade.

Its not every two months - the upgrade is due at the end of October, which
is 4 months from the release of 1.0. As a Standard license holder, you
don't have to buy every update - you could hang on and wait for the next
one.

All companies charge for updates. If you don't want to pay for updates (and
want support, priority on feature requests and printed manuals) you can
purchase a professional license for $995. We are a small company with high
development costs.

We do. It is indicated in the license agreement, on the order forms inside
the product and on our web site. Standard licenses require you to pay for
updates.

As I said, it was clearly documented. I don't know where the 75% figure
comes from...

I am obviously concerned about this misunderstanding, and if you are still
not satisfied with my response then please reply to me off list and we will
see what we can do.
