Well I'm not sure what you'd call "non-standard software". I have a lot of software, but I don't run it during development. I'm pretty certain that it's guaranteed to ball up anytime I go over the script limit, and then try to edit the script down to size. That seems to be one of the worst culprits. I emailed several of the glitches I encountered to the errors list, though by all means not everything. Just the ones that happen the most. I'm running system 8.5.1 on a G3 with 124 MB RAM. No background programs running, though I do use Norton Disk Utilities but they are set not to do anything until I shut down. Only program that launches on boot up is Sticky Notes, which I read and then promptly quit the program before launching anything else. 21" Sony monitor which I keep set to 256 colors so that any graphics I create for programs, I know what they'll look like on most monitors. Don't turn the printer and scanner on unless I'm actually going to use them. That's about it, except for software. I do have a lot of software, but as I said, I quit all other programs during development. Shari C -- --Shareware Games for the Mac-- http://www.gypsyware.com http://www.gypsygames.com
