Has anyone tried accessing a FileMaker Pro 5.5 database using the ODBC support in Rev 1.1?
I'm trying to write a test stack in Rev 1.1 using the new revdb features but can't even get the database manager tool to connect to a sample database on the same machine (Mac OS 9.2.1, FileMaker Pro 5.5). Ideally, what I'm trying to do is create a simple database front end stack that can run on either a Mac or PC client system on a mixed network with a FileMaker Pro db running on a serve which might be either a Mac or a Windows PC. I have FileMaker Pro 5.5 for both Mac and PC. Anyone got any experience/ideas?
