Okay, I think I understand it now. At least I have a stand alone working
with relative filenames for images!

Now that I understand how Revolution uses DefaultFolder ( and yes it is in
the documentation, funny how you sometimes have to work things out for
yourself prior to understanding the written word) I take great exception to
the current handling of defaultFolder.

Why on earth have a property dealing with file names and paths which changes
depending upon whether you are in the development application environment or
the stand alone environment. It must work in the stand alone environment so
why make things difficult by breaking the path in the development
environment?

The main stack should be "ego" (a concept borrowed from social anthropology)
Where it is saved should be the default defaultFolder whether in the
development application or not. This is a feature request from me. This
should be easy enough to do through trapping the "Save" and "Save As"
commands.

Okay, people are developing projects in the current environment. How are
they dealing with this? What am I missing? How do you program using
relative paths in Revolution.exe and have faith that the links work without
constantly quitting out and checking in the stand alone environment?
