Curiouser and curiouser! I wondered if it might be the OpenUtils AbstractRepositoryTestcase implementation - looked OK to me tho'. So I used the Magnolia RepositoryTestCase directly (with a bit of tweaking to initialise the repository). Same problem. I also added a test case for checking the SQL version, using "select nt:base WHERE jcr:path='itworks' - same results! I can see the nodes if I do a search for all (*), but not with a specific path.
I'm sure it must be something in my configuration, but I'm stumped here.
