Hi Michael, Maybe I wasn't clear in my last answer...
To set the defaultBaseURL, you need to log into magnolia as superuser. Then go to "Config" in the left-hand menu. In the tree, open the node: /server Under this node you can configure the "defaultBaseURL" property. You will need to do this for each of your nodes (author, public) separately.
