Hi Michael, Yep, you've found it! In a default installation you can now log in with superuser/superuser and begin using the admin-interface.
My only concern is that you will not be able to use the admin-interface in Lynx - I don't actually know because I've never tried, but the admin-gui uses quite a bit of javascript, and things like accordion-menus and trees that might be hard to work with in a text-only browser. Hence my suggestion to try an SSH tunnel to be able to use a regular browser. Also, as a suggestion I would recommend installing a magnolia bundle release on your workstation / laptop, and experimenting with that initially, as you will find it cumbersome to do everything on a server you can only reach via terminal session...
