I did the "update index" procedure in Netbeans a dozen times over, it must have downloaded the most up-to-date index. My only guess might be that only a partial index is returned. Much in the way that we can't open the node on the Nexus UI - if the returned index is being flushed segment by segment that could explain how Netbeans only gets a [i]partial[/i] index.
