Some further information. When setting a breakpoint in TypeSelectDataDialog and clicking save on a new recipeCategoryItem, the paragraph String value is an empty string. This is causing the logic to use the parent (recipeCategory) dialog bypassing the recipeCategoryItem's dialog validation altogether.
