No one has a guess as to why I am waiting several minutes to export
/users and it is still not done? Or have a suggestion for another way I
can move this content and configuration to a different instance of magnolia?

found on the wiki site a how to make a backup to a linux system. When
I followed those instructions the command hung for a long while [not
sure exactly how long since I went to lunch] and eventually the JVM
crashed [Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_06-b05, mixed mode,
sharing)]. And I do mean it crashed... I can send the dump file if
anyone knows how to read one of those things ;)
So... My question is... Is there some other way to move this
magnoliaAuthor instance? Can I just move the entire webapp to the new
server? And once I get the Author instance to the new server, how do
I properly activate everything to make the magnoliaPublic work right?
