Hi Gilles,
You are working on the same issue of mine...

I think it is possible, of course, simply using JSP pages:

1) Keep silence <% %>
2) Load Content Node of the page
3) Prepare a JSTL var (arrays, what you want)
4) Using some XML Writer (or maybe writing plain XML) to produce your feed...

You can, for example, use the "sub-template" technique to have different
behaviour for the same page:
- feed.html let user do the editing / visual reading
- feed.xml let user import the feed in a feed reader

This morning I work on this 4-step plan... let's see what happen :-)

Matteo

Subject: [magnolia-user] Generating an RSS feed from a page

I have a question regarding the RSS feeds. We would like to generate RSS
feeds for some of our pages.
I have found in the documentation that this was made available by using
the Template Designer. Is it possible to do that without the template
designer?

We would like to have a feed on some pages so that all the new
paragraphs or updates are reflected by the feed

Many thanks in advance

Gilles
