I used to remember open bugs just because I worked on them so frequently. However, that work was too time-consuming, and I'm know trying to use my time more efficiently.
One of the things which are probably useful is kernel.org bugzilla. Jeff, what do you think of this? Could we start _suggesting_ users to do that and using that as a policy? It's also useful since users doing report don't often follow up to allow to "close" the bug. I'm asking even because I'm not sure whether you, Jeff, feel Bugzilla nice or awkward to use. -- Inform me of my mistakes, so I can add them to my list!
