i run entropy repairs and it still does not fix counters. I have some reports from users with same problem but nobody discovered repeatable scenario. I am currently in migrating phase to Infinispan data grid, it does not seems to have problems with distributed counters.Also it does not sound like you have run anti entropy repair. You should do that when upping rf.
