As Geode developers we follow community process to propose new
changes/feature, it is simple to follow and you get a lot of good feedback
and answers to your question; helps you to steer in the right direction and
see if your change can be added in minor/major release. Most of the time
you don't have to wait for a major release, unless the change breaks the
compatibility with old clients and current major version.
