this bug is also occuring in other Gradle builds. It looks like an
Ant 1.7.1 issue. Although it does not seen to be harmful, this is
very irritating and therefore I will roll back to Ant 1.7.0.
Is it certain that the 1.7.0 -> 1.7.1 upgrade is the culprit?
Yes. At least a rollback to 1.7.0 prevents this from happening.
It is never a satisfactory situation to have to rollback particularly
when the jars are stored in the repository. Is that actually
necessary
to have the jars in the Gradle repository, is it not possible to
use Ivy
to get the jars as needed so as to avoid having them in the Gradle
repository?
It is possible but I like to have the jars in svn. See the discussion
in the user's guide: http://gradle.org/userguide/latest/
