I'm not the originator of this thread, but I have a reason to turn off that
output: A fellow developer uses emacs and runs gradle from it, and the ANSI
terminal sequences in this part of gradle's output are displayed as garbage.
The terminal library used by gradle doesn't seem to be smart enough to turn
them off when run under emacs.
